The shortfalls arose during a planned outage at the East Lothian site in Scotland in March 2026, when workers could have been exposed to asbestos in a valve within the steam system while carrying out overhaul activities.
Trillium demonstrated to ONR that it has suitable arrangements for monitoring the close-out of work order logs relating to asbestos, and has established proactive measures to ensure that the presence, or potential presence, of asbestos is appropriately assessed.
